I’m a developer who likes to create stuff for the web working at Collective Idea. I’ve been a geek since high school; I had a ThinkGeek t-shirt that read “Geek is sexy” long before it was only available as a babydoll tee.

I am happily married and have an adorable daughter (most people agree with me, but judge for yourself).

I’ve turned into a casual gamer as life has picked up, but you can find me on Xbox Live playing a game every now and then under the gamertag of nsain. As for real sports, I play golf when the weather is nice and I try to follow as much soccer as I can. And even though I’ve grown up in Michigan, I am quite loyal to The University of Notre Dame. GO IRISH!

Ryckbost… What Kind of Last Name Is That?

Dutch. Phonetically, it sounds like Rike-boast. Or, bike-roast, but switch the b and the r around to get the correct word. The b is the real stickler, so I’m often referred to as “Ryckpost” and won’t correct you if you mis-pronounce it as such.
